Hi, I'm Makenzie.

This is my shop. I started my business after my kid was born in 2023. It originally started as a Brand Design services business after a career spent working at big brands like The North Face, Mountain Hardwear and Specialized Bicycle Components. A couple years later I was saying to myself, "Why the heck is my preschooler painting all the time and I’m not!?" This prompted me to morph my practice to include more art making. Now, Cereal for Dinner is an online shop where you can buy my art as prints. If you’ve ever had the urge to change up something in your life after a big life event, I can relate. Life is short. Do what you want. Eat cereal for dinner.

How do you make your prints?

I use a third party platform that drop ships your print directly to you. They provide high quality matte finish paper with wooden frames that I would personally decorate my house with.
